Mentoring

Our one-2-one outreach or community-based mentoring program supports children and young people in community environments by focusing on their interaction, communication, well-being, emotional health, hobbies, and interests. One of our primary goals is personal development, addressing individual needs, promoting self-regulation, and creating an inclusive environment where every young person feels supported. We achieve this through relational learning, emphasizing the importance of strong, nurturing relationships as the foundation for healthy and helpful experiences.
Our approach places the young person at the heart of our thinking and activities, allowing them to consider, explore, and have a voice in their learning journeys, opportunities, and futures. Aspire and Thrive adults model resilience and determination and provide the necessary support in responding to the needs of children or young people. Aspire and Thrive offers an individualized, inclusive, and creative curriculum to help children and young people work toward healthy and helpful experiences.
Our mentoring program focuses on building relationships with young people. Through mentoring, we intend to help young people re-engage in education after periods of absence, navigate emotional well-being challenges, and aspire for their futures, helping them realize their fantastic potential.
Why Mentorship Matters
Mentoring plays a crucial role in helping children and young people navigate challenges, build resilience, and develop essential life skills. Our goal is to create meaningful connections and provide exceptional service to support their growth and well-being.
Our Approach to Mentoring
At Aspire & Thrive, we focus on individualized mentorship that aims to reduce the use of labels and provide a safe space for growth. We partner with Connect 2 for a psychologically informed practice framework to ensure that our services are impactful and effective.
